Say no to 8.99% Council Tax increase

Lib Dem run Shropshire Council is moving forward with proposals that could impose up to 8.99% Council Tax increases for 2026/27.

Having been granted permission by the Government, the council which is run by the Lib Dem administration will choose how much to raise council tax for local residents.

We have started a campaign against this level of increase as unaffordable to local residents.
